January's Thought - Friends

Friends are our Angels in Life

When I read this, I smiled because she is so right. Good friends are angels to stand by us no matter what. They support us when we feel inadequate. They listen when we need to talk. They offer love when we feel that we are unloved.

I have a couple of good friends who have been by my side through thick and thin. One of them is also my sister and I feel so blessed to have had her in my life. She is always so supportive of everything I want to do and doesn’t hesitate to encourage me or even discourage me if she feels I need to be sure I know what I’m getting myself into.

The other couple of friends are not related, but to me they are as part of my life as I could ever hope. They have listened and understood me, stood by me, and given of their time and energy to make sure I had what I needed to go on every day even when I’ve been blue. We’ve shared so much over the past years and every day I thank my Lord for them.

I try to include good friends in each of my stories. My life wouldn’t have been so full and rich without good friends and I think friends add to the depth of my stories.

I urge you to remember to make a friend every day and remember that making friends is also being a friend too.

Joke - Different When You're Married

IT'S JUST DIFFERENT WHEN YOU'RE MARRIED.........................

Three women: one engaged, one married, and one a mistress, are chatting about their relationships and decide to amaze their men....that night all three will wear a leather bodice S&M style, stilettos and mask over their eyes.

After a few days they meet again.....

The engaged girlfriend said: 'The other night, when my boyfriend came back home, he found me in the leather bodice, 4" stilettos and mask.

He said, 'You are the woman of my life, I love you...then we made love all night long.'

The mistress stated: 'Oh Yes! The other night we met in his office. I was wearing the leather bodice, mega stilettos, mask over my eyes and a raincoat. When I opened the raincoat, he didn't say a word. We just had wild sex all night.'

The married one then said: 'The other night I sent the kids to stay at my mother's for the night, I got myself ready, leather bodice, super stilettos and mask over my eyes. My husband came in from work, fell in his mangy Lazyboy, grabbed the TV controller and a beer, and said, 'Hey Batman, what's for dinner?'

Have you ever read a book, been to a bar, or overheard someone order a drink like Sex on the Beach, Slippery Nipple or Love Potion? I used to laugh, thinking these drinks weren't real. Believe me they are!
